Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  • To embed a strong foundation in engineering sciences with more emphasis to analysis and solve Technical problems.
  • To inculcate Professional and Ethical attitude, Effective Communication Skill, Team work skills, Multi-disciplinary Approach, Entrepreneurial Thinking and ability to relate Electronics and Communication Engineering with social issues.
  • To give adequate training exposure of emerging technology and opportunities in Electronics and Communication Engineering to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • To train the students for multi-disciplinary project and services for vertical career growth.

Program Specific Outcomes (P.S.O)

  1. The student will able to apply fundamental knowledge of Basic Sciences , Analog & Digital Electronics Domains , Instrumentation, Power Electronics , Industrial Automation for maintenance and operation of Electronics & Communication systems.
  2. Adaptability to function in multi – disciplinary work environment with good interpersonal skills, professional ethics & Social responsibility.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a full-time, 3-year course with intake of 60 seats . The program outcomes are derived from five domains of NSQF Level namely Process, Professional Knowledge, Professional Skill, Core Skill, Responsibility.Student faculty Ratio of the program is 27.387 .After completing this program, the student will be able to:

  1. Perform tasks in limited range of activities, familiar situation with clear choice of procedures.
  2. Acquire knowledge of principles and processes in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  3. Develop skills to accomplish quality tasks and solve problems using methods, tools, materials and information.
  4. Demonstrate skill of communication, basic mathematics, collecting and organizing information along with knowledge of social, political and natural environment.
  5. Take the responsibility of own works and supervises others work.
  6. Select multidisciplinary and open subjects of own interest and perform self learning through Massive Open Online Courses.

Program Outcomes

  1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
  2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyses well-defined engineering problems using codified standard method.
  3. Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
  4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and  appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
  5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
  6. Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
  7.  Life-long learning: Ability to analyses individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
